New post issue

This isn't really a problem, but I don't enjoy checking out the forums for new posts, seeing a red circle, and finding out that new post was my own. Is there some way to disable showing the red circle to those who made those new posts?

Also, anyone else having the problem where when they hit the apostrophe key it brings up a quick-find box? I also cannot use arrows keys to scroll through text or the webpage. You would think this was an issue from my site, and not from the forums, but it only happens here...

I can use the arrow keys just fine...
