IGN just came out with a review of this apparent "masterpiece"

Ok I'm not saying that we should listen to IGN in all. In fact many times I've found myself thinking "IGN is the stupidest thing ever." But this is the first perfect 10 they have given in 9 years.

i've seen it played, and i jizzed twice... lol, but yes... it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

i wanted to go tonight to get mine for xbox, but i didn't have the funds at the time to pay for the rest of it

so i'm sure some of you have played it by now. is it as good as they say?

im just now getting through the "tutorial" part of the game. its a really fun game, and its rediculous how much there is to do with this game. there is so much content that i feel overwhelmed.

as far as gameplay goes, i really dont think its THAT great of a game. messy camera angles and extremely hard car handling get frustrating at times.

as for the online play, its not as great as the reviewers are saying. sure, its neat to finally play GTA with others, but its clear that its not built to be a multiplayer game by far. in most of the modes, you cant see the enemy on the radar. with a city this big, its literally impossible to find people without it.

overall, i am glad i bought it, but at the same time, for a game thats hyped up so much and has so much work put into it, the very basics of the gameplay suffer, while the really fine details (extra things to do around the city) make it unfathomable.

From what has been said about it, the game really doesn't begin to shine once the whole world lies in front of you. I will say taking your girlfriend to a strip club is a very very funny experience.

agreed, like i said the sheer magnitude of content is unbelievable. everytime i do something in this game, i ask myself "how long have they been working on this game?".

i just got done playing and was just messing around with some civilians when i saw the cops up ahead. i stopped what i was doing and accidentaly wrecked into another car. the guy came out of his car with a gun and the police saw it. they turned on their lights and ARRESTED HIM. and i mean full on arrested. you could hear them talking, yelling "put the gun down! im not sure if youre aware, but its illegal to have an open firearm in this city." the guy held his hands up, and the cop took him to the police car, put him in the back seat and drove off.
