New character, worse than Snake?

yep, huge let down.

unfortunately he was somehow one of the most requested characters when Sakurai made that Character Suggestions thread on the nintendo forums.

i wouldnt have minded so much if i found out while playing the game, but if youre going to announce new characters, make it appealing to alteast 50% of the players.

i think this will be an andy character. Olimar looks like a princess peach that needs to have her turnips out at all times, and can stack them. Olimar and Pokemon trainer are the two most diverse characters i've seen so far. once again, i called this one months ago when i made that list ;P

with all the gloating behind, i wonder if this will mean that there is going to be another row of new characters because of the final third party character. we've got a few more weeks left and i have hint of hope for a new character every week. after this odd olimar update, i made a checklist of all the updates for all the different characters.
we still have zsamus, zelda, snake, and olimar's fsmashes. there hasn't been an fzero, sonic, or pikmin stage. there's still more to update, but i pray they make these last few weeks worthwhile.

10 updates are left (starting with Thursday the 10th) before the japanese release. once it is released, we will know atleast 90% of the important information.
