Tourney Turnouts

So I like to believe me, Tyler, and Ryan did our part in spreading the word of the lounge last night at the tourney in Smyrna. None of us won , but we did get prizes for our costumes and were the 1st in line to get our hands on the game at 12:01. We had a morning of endless Brawls for about 6 hours.

Pretty awesome night though. How was it in Murfreesboro?

lol, i would've liked to have gone to a tourney... but i distinctly remember during my trek back to my room the other night in my hall, the unmistakable sounds of PK Freeze and FALCONNNNN PUNCH!!! at 2:30 in the morning...

i tried going to "with anyone" -or whatever- today and it didn't pick up any other players.

well if i can get my brother to buy Brawl within the next week or so, i'll be able to play you next week online... but i don't know that it'll happen...

I was specifically referring to Brawl... and not referring the major crazy big national super smash bros. tournaments.

I had the most experience playing brawl out of anyone there, but using the nunchuck sent me all the way back to square 1. I even brought my own gamecube controller and they wouldnt let me use it.

That truly pisses me off. I will not go to any tournament the Goomba Lounge does not host.

Yes the Wiimote and Nunchuck were extremely annoying I had trouble sheilding and jumping. The random characters weren't so bad though at least not for me I got Ike who turns out I'm maining = D. Well since most of you dont know me I guess I'll introduce myself I'm Kyle I was at the gamestop tournament Tyler, Rhyan, and shadowspine (Can't remember real name >.<) were at.

Oh i almost forgot since the topic is about how we did in the tournament I got 2nd place, Some guy from Alabama crushed my hopes and dreams in the sudden death match of the final round.

don't worry about dreams. if any of us would have had a better controller and the matches were 2 lives on stock, the outcome of the fate of the world would have been different.

Aye. We would have gotten 1st, 2nd, 3rd... all the way down to Inri at last place.
