OnLive - Future Gaming Technology
just recently announced at GDC 09, a new gaming service is being released in Winter '09. basically, its like Steam on crack (if it works). my major concerns are:
1. Pricing
2. Latency
3. The Controller
4. The Publishers (or lack there-of)
5. PC games only
that said, this finally gives us a chance to rent PC games, and is probably the most convenient way to go about it so far.

Re: OnLive - Future Gaming Technology
it sounds like a good idea.
i don't think it is PC only games actually tim. he said it will be taking games from all platforms. platforms including the 360 and PS3
when he described the controls it kind of scared me. he kept using words like "essentially" i don't want the buttons i hit to work "essentially" i want them to work
you can watch other people play games? that'd be awsome if you could talk to the guy playing. personally i'd have fun just finding people to critisize untill they stopped playing or even better, killed someone
