List your Wii Console Code!

In order to prepare for Brawl and for all of us who have Wii's to play together, we need each other's Wii console codes. If you would like to be added on this list, please post below with the name you would prefer to be categorized by, along with your Wii Console code.

How to find out your Wii Console Code

1. Start up your Wii and go to the Wii Main Menu.

2. Click on the bottom right icon that looks like an envelope labeled "Wii Message Board".

3. Click on the icon at the bottom left labeled "Create Message".

4. Click on "Address Book" which is the far right icon. Your Wii Console Number should come up.



How to add other peoples' Wii Console Code

1. Follow the instructions above. Once you are at the Address Book, click "Register" at the bottom right.

2. Write the persons Wii Console Code on paper first so you don't have to try and memorize it. Check the number again after you have entered the code. Click "Ok" when finished.

3. Afterwards, you will be prompted to add a nickname. Just go with something that helps you remember the person. Click Ok.

4. You will then be prompted to add a Mii to the entry. This is not required, but can help. It will show the Mii you have selected for the entry to the left of where it is in your Address Book. It's just used for organization. I skip this step most of the time.

5. Click Ok and you should see the entry added. You may sift through pages of your Address Book by hitting the right arrow on the right side of the screen.



I may update this with a few questions people might have about connecting to the Internet, but not quite yet.

I could of used those instructions the year-and-a-ahalf I've had the Wii. It's like hiding your code in a bulletproof safe.

http://www.woot.com/ has routers up for pretty cheap sometimes, i'll keep an eye on the site for ya.

Just for the record, I have a wii, but it's in Smyrna, so when I get back home, I'll post it's code.

yeah that was a lot of fun, cant wait for the American servers to be set up so we dont have to deal with delays.

Yeah. There were moments though where I found the lag to be unnoticeable. There were also times, especially when playing with that Sonic fellow, that made it practically unplayable, reducing it to something like slow-mo melee.

Hey guys, this is Zach Coulter. Andy told me about this site, and I thought I'd check it out, but I'm just now getting around to posting anything. I finally got a Wii yesterday, so I'm stoked, lol.
